Applications are being accepted for the 2022-23 Leading Our Ladies (LOL) Training and Development Program 

 

The Leading Our Ladies Training and Development Program(LOL) is a six-month leadership experience for young adult women of color aged 16-20 who want to grow socially and personally. 

There are modules on self-understanding, healthy relationships, emotional and physical wellness, and life lessons to prepare participants for the future.

Program Highlights

Leading Our Ladies features key sessions, including:

 

  • Positive Self-Talk

  • Building Healthy Connections

  • Maintaining Emotional Stability

  • Lessons to Live By

  • And much more!

 

Application Requirements

Interested candidates must complete an online application. The program will notify applicants of their acceptance by September 1, 2022. For your application to be complete, all required sections must be received by August 15th. The following items should be included in your application:

 

 

 

Program Fee

There is no fee to participate in Leading Our Ladies. The selected participants will be provided with registration materials, class materials, and meals during the sessions. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from program sessions.

 

Benefit to Participants
Leading Our Ladies will not only improve the confidence and self-esteem of participants but will facilitate new friendships among young women who share a desire for self-improvement and self-sufficiency. For the full benefit of the program, selected participants would need to commit to four hours, one Saturday a month.

 

Certificate

A certificate of completion and $200 for personal development will be awarded to graduates of Leading Our Ladies.
